Hello! My name is Calvin Head and I'm a freelance graphic designer and hand-lettering artist based in South Australia.

Caligature™ is the name of my personal design brand, encompassing my portfolio of graphic design, hand-lettering and photography work. In addition to this, I also have a space for people to purchase my lettering work as various products from my online store.

I mainly specialise in logotypes, custom lettering, brand identity and print design (flyers, posters, invitations, wedding stationery etc). I also thoroughly enjoy photography, videography and photo/video editing as other creative outlets. BEHIND THE BRAND NAME

The word 'Caligature' is the fusion of my name 'Calvin' and the typography term 'ligature', due to my ever-growing passion for hand-lettering and typography. I've always appreciated the beauty of ligatures and the art of connecting letters together, so I tried to incorporate that into my logo design. I intended for the logo to be designed with a classy, elegant-yet-bold and captivating style that was sharp, well-balanced and aesthetically pleasing.
